MLB Marketing Campaign - Rays 2013 Season


Heading into the 2013 Major League Baseball season, a major marketing campaign focus was to show the emotional impact of baseball, not only from a player's perspective but from the fan's as well.

From David Price's rituals prior to each start, to a father and son's experience on game day, to a mom taking her daughter to her first Rays game, the stories are endless. This was achieved through a very clean print look where the copy and photo tells the story.

The TV spots featured the clips and voices of the story teller, as well as an emotional piano driven soundtrack. Lastly, a tag and lockup of "Welcome Home" was created. This was to remind the fans that whether the team is away or home, they can feel right at "Home" by watching the Rays play.
